Church Mice (pre-primary)

Our weekly baby and toddler group meets each Thursday in term time from 9.30 - 11.30am in the Church Room for play, craft, story and songs (plus snacks and coffee!). If the weather is fine we overflow outside, but if inclement we spread out inside. Come along with your children and join the fun.

#FNT (Ages 9 - 14)

In the Autumn and Spring terms our weekly youth club meets on a Friday Night from 5.30 - 7pm. We meet in the Church Room for a free flowing session of games and activities with a tuck shop that opens at 6pm. We are reliant on volunteers to help so if you would like help out occasionally that would be appreciated. Depending on interest and volunteers we may split the group to a 5.30 - 7pm for students in years 5 & 6 and a drop-in youth club for students in years 7 & 8 from 7.30pm - 9pm.

Muddy Church

Muddy Church is held four times a year on Saturdays at 10:00 am. We meet in the Churchyard to engage with creation and nature in creative and playful ways. Muddy Church is an intergenerational gathering, a time in which we can wonder and wander together, so our nature trails are designed so that all ages can explore.

Half-term Madness (Perfect for the whole family)

Each Thursday in half-term we have an afternoon, 2 - 4pm, to drop in and enjoy games, crafts, activities and cake. It is a chance to catch up and get to know one another better (both parents and children) over fun activities.

Good News Gang (ages 9 – 14)

This group is aimed at 9 -14 year olds wanting to get to know a bit more about their faith and have some fun doing it. We meet on the first and third Sundays from 5 - 6.30pm in the Church Room. Join the gang as they explore faith through games, activities, forays into the bible and much laughter.

Seasonal Activity days

At Christmas and Easter we offer various activities, groups and opportunities to deepen faith. More details are always in the Parish Magazine and the Website nearer to the time.

Messy Church (perfect for primary years and under)

Messy Church is held on the second Sundays in October, December, March and May by all three of the churches in the village. Come and explore faith in a fun and messy way  and share a meal together. It is a fantastic way of getting to know other families and members of all three Chiddingfold Churches. For Messy Church, children must be accompanied by an adult.

Churchyard Working Party

Families and children under supervision are welcome on the 1st Saturday of each month from 9.30 – 12pm to help with the work of keeping our churchyard tidy.  Tools and tasks are provided and there’s always plenty of coffee/squash to go with the bacon butties at morning tea. For more information contact us or just turn up (with gardening gloves.)

Choir

We have a Junior choir for children eight years and older which rehearses on Friday evenings at 7pm with the adult choir in the Church, so everyone also has a chance to rehearse together.  Guidance, tuition and encouragement are provided. Please contact St Mary’s Director of Music for more information.
