Latest Coronavirus Guidance across the Parish

Coronavirus: How it affects Church Life

St. Mary’s has re-opened! You are welcome to spend time in this sacred space, light a candle, reflect and pray.

To help keep you safe we have planned a number of changes:

  • Only the main south aisle of the church will be open for individual prayer, and we will be operating a one-way system, with entry via the Main door.

  • You will be asked to respect physical distancing, both while entering and inside the building, by remaining 2m apart from others outside of your group.

  • We will be limiting numbers inside the church, cordoning off seating and have signs and floor stickers at the entrance and inside the building to help you do this.

Our stewards will be available to welcome you during your visit.

There will be hand sanitising points for use at the entrance and exit.

Donations for candles and the work of this church will be via card or cash.

Please note there will be no toilet facilities available at this time.
