Would you like to pause with others to ponder the reason for the season? Visit the church and walk the Advent journey through prayer stations and opportunities to pause on the true meaning of Advent and Christmas: God with Us.

Please join us as we worship through this wonderful season: 

Sunday 3rd December, 6.30pm - Advent Carol Service

Sunday 17th December - 10 am Christingle Family Service with the Peace Light from Bethlehem

Sunday 17th December - 6.30 pm 'Carols by Candlelight', a traditional Christmas Carol Service followed by refreshments in the Church Room

Sunday, 24th December - 4.00 pm Crib Service - for children of all ages!

Sunday, 24th December - 11.00 pm Midnight Mass

Monday, 25th December - 8.00 am Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer)

Monday, 25th December - 10.00 am Parish Communion (With Intergenerational Opportunities)

 

Journey in Faith this Advent

Members of St. Mary’s are also invited to step outside the hectic whirl and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. There will be something for everyone, contact the leaders directly for more information:                                                    

‘Beyond Dreams’, a course exploring reflections about this season meeting on the Tuesdays in lent leading up to Christmas. Open to all regardless of faith or Church experience. ‘Candles in the Dark’,– This Advent course will lead us into a deeper awareness of the ever-present God. All are welcome every Monday 8-9pm. Contact Sheila Southerton (Ashcombe) on  01428 682287 or jsoutherto@btinternet.com
